Steel Bridge 2022-2023 Battle of the Drafters

For this year’s annual Battle of the Drafters, the drafting members competed in teams against one another in designing a cable-stayed bridge. Drafting team members were tasked with modelling their bridge following all design requirements in Inventor. The BIM team then put the bridges in Twinmotion to see what each bridge would look like in a more realistic environment. At the Christmas social, each team’s design was presented to the whole team were members voted on the winning design.
